Overview
You should be seen by your dentist for a thorough examination and diagnosis. Radiographs (x-rays) of your teeth and bone structures, impressions of your mouth, photographs, and a complete examination will help to evaluate your oral health. Teeth, bones, and soft tissues are examined and an evaluation is made of the relationship between teeth and jaw movements.
A second visit is usually used to begin dental cleanings and discuss treatment options. Following examination and diagnosis, you will be presented with a treatment plan, as well as alternatives and costs.
