Procera core with Vita VM7 crowns
Procera cores are produced by using CAD-CAM technology in order to get best margin fit and eliminate human errors in core-making process. (CAD-CAM stands for Computer-Aid-Design & Computer-Aid-Machining)
There are two types of procera cores:
| 1. |
Procera AllCeram |
| |
Made of 100%, sintered Aluminon oxide, it comes with 3 options: |
| |
|
1) 0.4 mm translucent cores |
| |
|
2) 0.4 mm white cores |
| |
|
3) 0.6 mm cores |
| 2. |
Procera AllZirkon |
| |
Made of 100% sintered Zirconium oxide, it has only one choice so far, 0.6 mm white cores. |
Procera is by far the most successful all ceramic core system in the market. 90% of the cases we do for the dentists are metal free. Thus, Procera is largely used by us for both anterior and posterior teeth. In our studio, we use VITA VM7 porcelain on top of Procera Allceram core and VITA VM9 procelain on top of Procera AllZirkon core.
